Our property tax is the only tax that allows the government to confiscate our homes if we don't have enough income to pay the tax that the government has levied.

Hi
I am concerned with my property value increasing by the county artificially raising the value while property values are actually decreasing. The county raised my property value by 9.2 percent for 2009.
I received a 2 percent raise per hour on my job with a 15 percent cut in work time. There are other families with similar and worse issues.
It just seems fraudulent for counties to just raise property values to get more money.
